Black Belts?!

Hey guys-

As you know, I'm looking to obtain some Black Belt Items.

Surv was able to grab some ToDs today. If you guys wanted to help camp Adamantoise/Aspid tomorrow morning (7:34am-10:34 PST), we could probably try claiming the NQ if it pops.

I'm not big on HNMs, and will probably end up trying to buy the items anyway. If you are up for some adventure, be thar! If through some miracle we claim the NQ and get the drop, I will be willing to split 3M amongst people who show up and help.

The Behemoth/KB window opens just a little earlier, so I might be there for awhile as well.

I'm sure having a Black Belt will help in salvage a bit.

As you all know, I was able to snag a Behemoth Tongue on Saturday. We then missed the claim on the NQ turtle. I've been camping it since that date, and I've had no luck. (Window has now moved to 3:29-6:29 AM PST)

Pretty much everyone who is camping has at least one person in their group that needs the egg, so buying it doesn't seem to be an option.

If you guys want to try doing The Hills Are Alive KSNM, we can--- only we would have to try and recruit a ton of BLMS. (At least 3, possibly 6) Once the turtle goes in its shell, it regens 1-2%/tick, which is like ~500hp/tick.

Won't be able to help u camp adamantoise, but i sure can help u do ksnm99, Hills are alive. i have 99ks to help out too if we don't do too well on the first run. We'll just have to plan it out, like u said, so that we can get everyone on at the same time to do it.

2 months and 11.5M later, Black Belt is complete!

Survive stayed up late and scored the egg for me last night! Ill post Screenshots later!

But the fun doesn't stop here- Survive is 1/3... loooool...

We tested out the black belt last night- wow...

I got a 21 second Utsusemi: Ni timer! (I think Ichi was ~14 seconds)

Our setup was:

Jello: SAM/RNG, then switched to DNC/NIN
Houa: BRD/NIN
Pokers: SAM/NIN
Gren: SAM/NIN
Survive: RDM/WHM
Circa: MNK/NIN

With 2x March (+~20%), Haste spell (+15%), Haste Samba (+5-10%(if merited)), and 25% haste from gear... Which is +70% haste at best.

It was pretty much auto hundred fists. javascript:emoticonp('') (Hundred Fists is equivalent to +74% Haste)

I was just eyeballing, but I think Gren would have topped the parse.

Regardless, it was fun!
