A Moogle Kupo d'Etat Empty A Moogle Kupo d'Etat

1. Talk to your Moogle inside your Moghouse in your Home Nation.

2. Kill upper tier Yagudo in Giddeus, Orcs in Yughott Grotto, and Quadav in Palborough Mines to receive the requested items. Trade these items to your Moogle in your Home Nation.

Note: Orcish armor plate dropped off Goblin Leecher in KRT (grenKinne)

3. Go to Upper Jueno, and receive a cutscene (Across from Durable Shields). Grab an ample supply of pickaxes, sickles, and hatchets. Head to Fort Ghelshba, find a logging point, and pray for a the bark key item. Gusgen Mines works for Mining (Metal Strip), but I understand Zerehun Mines work too. Giddeus works for Harvesting (Lamb).
Return to Upper Jeuno for a cutscene.

4. Talk to Shantotto, and then Head to Outer Hurotoro Ruins and farm Cardians until you obtain several orbs (key items). The best place to farm is the southern zone off of Western Sarutabaruta. There are 4 orbs, and each correspond to a weakness. This could be wrong, but I think it is as follows:

Orb of Cups = Piercing
Orb of Coins = Magic
Orb of Batons = Blunt
Orb of Swords = Slashing

Head to the northern zone off of Eastern Sarutabaruta, and click the ??? to pop a bunch of cardians. After you defeat all the cardians, you will receive a few key items. Return to Shantotto.

5. Head Back to Upper Jeuno for another cutscene. Your moogle will send you to a random area to dig up a key item for him. Grab a bunch of greens (2 stacks to be safe), hop on a chocobo, and have fun with a quick game of chocobo hot and cold. After you get the key item, head back to Upper Jeuno.

6. Head to Sea Serpent Grotto, and talk to Riku (C-5 on map 1). He will send you past the ornamented door (so get a sahagin key). Run over the bridge, and check the Waterfall Basin for a cutscene. Return to upper Jeuno.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE QUICKSAND CAVES AND NORTHLANDS MAPS!

If you need help with the maps, /tell Grenkinne or Circa, and we will help you out.

7. Head out to the Chamber of Oracles for a BCNM fight. Oh, but to do the bcnm fight, you have to find all 9 pieces of a key, which the gob in quicksand caves has marked on your map. Once you gather all 9 pieces, head back to the gob, and enter Chamber of Oracles, where you will be raped by 3 gobs (sleepable) and a mithra, who can summon another mithra (also sleepable). At 25%, a second mithra will be summoned (blm). The gobs are reported to be fairly weak. I would estimate the main Mithra has about 10-12k hp. Have fun!

Strategy: Open with Sleepga/Horde Lullaby. Pick off the gobs one at a time. Engage Nanaa (Main Mithra). At 75%, she will summon a mithra. Sleep it. Once Nanaa is down to like ~40%, zerg it down. Once she hits 25%, she will summon a blm mithra. Sleep it, if possible. Note: We had the first and second mithras come out at 75% and 50%, respectively.

8. Once you are done, head back to upper Jeuno. Zone into Castle Zvahl, and a CS will tell you to go to Beaucedine. Near the Xarc zone in Beaucedine, there is a Lonely Evergreen. Trigger it for a CS. The CS will tell you to go south to find a gob. The gob will give you a quest. There are 6 Items that you will hit, and they will show up as an elemental on your map. These elements correspond to the day of the week. Connect them, or get hits from the gob. Once you have solved it, and have opened the chest next to the gob, go back to the Lonely Evergreen for another CS.

9. The next leg of the quest is to target Option 1, which is in the center of xarcabard, sort of close to the outpost. You will have to answer 3 questions about yourself. You answer them by going to either Option 1, Option 2, or Option 3. Once you have answered 3 questions correctly, head to Castle Zvahl.

10. Upon zoning, you will have to click a pillar to trigger instructions from a moogle. You will be level restricted to 1, and have Sneak/Invis/Deodorize casted on you. You have 8 minutes to make it close to the Castle Zvahl Keep zone line. Once you make it- DONT ZONE- click on the flames. You will receive a Kupon.

11. After receiving the kupon, zone into Castle Zvahl Keep, and click on the pillar near the zone. Progress as usual to the throne room. When you get to the teleporter area, there will be Craggy Pillars in each of the square rooms. Check each one on your way to the throne room, and you will find the appropriate moogle and receive the final kupon.

12. Once you reach the throne room, click on the door for a cutscene. The final fight is ahead!

Final Fight overview: The mob we fight has 3 stages. First stage it will be single target. At 50% it will summon BLM adds, which should be slept as soon as possible. It will also retreat, and get healed to 100%. It can use an AOE move that draws in, deals damage, and stuns. It can use that move once in the first stage. Second stage is exactly the same as the first, only it can use the AOE move more often. Third and final stage is the same, only it will not retreat to get healed at 50%, and it can use the AOE move whenever it likes. However, this move will not draw in on the third stage.

Strategy: Mob is EXTREMELY weak to skillchains- ESPECIALLY Darkness. Normal attacks are like bomb tosses, low AOE fire Damage. Therefore, having everyone sub Red Mage for Phalanx, Barfire, and Stoneskin might be a good idea. Shadows are useless for this fight.

First Stage: Melee/SC as normal, keep HP up. Hold the mob at ~51% until you are ready to sleepga adds, then push it over. Main mob will retreat to be healed- it technically de-aggros, so don't follow it (you cannot deal damage to it when it is in this mode). Concentrate on picking off the adds. Hopefully you will be able to defeat the adds before the Main mob comes back.

Second Stage: Melee/SC as normal, watch out for draw-in/AOE dmg/stun move. Make sure you pace the fight so your sleeper is ready for the adds. At 50%, the Main mob will retreat and heal again. Again, defeat the adds.

Third Stage: Have melees go all out. Adds will be summoned again at 50%, so stay on top of sleeping them. Mages pull out of range, as the AOE dmg/stun move will no longer draw in. Keep up the damage, Benediction if necessary, and enjoy your new hat!

note on those cardians, person popping may want to have -def gear, or stoneskin/phalanx on. they don't do a lot of dmg, but there's a lot of them. I went as rdm, had stoneskin and phalanx on. Phalanx should be good for the most part, but had stoneskin for the crits, lol

So we won last night with this setup. Me Blm/rdm, az blm/rdm, menthe whm/blm, gigan rdm/blm, kaz war/sam, ho nin/sam.

Go in buff up, ONLY me and Az engage the mob, nuke it bouncing hate back and forth. Once it pops the moogles, sleepga, let kaz and ho mow through those. Aspir the lower moogles every chance you get since there is not much time to rest. While the big guy was downstairs only me and azian we're down with him, everyone else was on the steps.

Make sure stoneskin is always up if you can cast it. By the time there was one moogle left, the big guy came down the steps. Me and Azian continued nuking him. Once he was at 80% on second form we held him there for a bit to let everyones mp get a bit higher. At 75% he used some ws. Continue nuking, until 50% where he summon more moogles again. We just did the same here as we did with the previous moogles.

Now for the 3rd part, Ho and kaz melee'd the nm while azian and I nuked it. Once it summons moogles, have the rdm sleep them. Ignore the moogles and focus on NM. A minute or two later i threw SleepgaII on them to make sure they stayed asleep for the rest of the fight. Ho and kaz made darkness and I got off a lucky MB for 5500 or so.

So basically, for the first 2 forms, do not melee the NM, let the 2 blm's kite and nuke it from each other. Only melee the 3rd form. This is what worked for us.

Somethings to note: Stun works, Gravity works, and best of all BIND works. It seems to build resistance to all of these though...so use them only when you have to. Drain does alot of damage just like nukes, so the Blm's can use that to heal themselves to full.

good job! Makes sense that sleepga would work better than horde lullaby. If some you guys are up for round 2, I would definitely like to try that strategy tonight.

Surv will be on later than earlier, but she has done the climb and has logged off in the throne room.
